Sparta Digital forms partnership with Global Beacon technology provider Sensoro

Sparta Digital has announced a strategic partnership with Beacon hardware specialist Sensoro. Sensoro is one of the confirmed beacon suppliers for Google’s new Eddystone open beacon format. It has teamed with Sparta Digital to provide Beacon technology for deployment within various smart city projects including smart mobility and proximity marketing.

Sensoro’s solution will operate with Sparta’s award-winning Smart Mobility & engagement platform to enable businesses to deliver digital experiences based on the user’s current physical context and location, via mobile. This helps brands to increase consumer engagement and app retention across a network of high footfall, high dwell locations. Sensoro’s Yunzi Beacon is as small as a wristwatch and simple to deploy. It knows its precise position, understands its environmental conditions and seamlessly interacts with apps on your mobile device.

The partnership with Sensoro means that Sparta Digital continues to deploy innovative solutions utilising their platforms & apps to deliver a best in class experience for consumers. Both companies will work closely together developing joint business opportunities and providing a complete end-to-end service for clients.

The announcement follows Sparta Digital’s recent Frontier Cities ( project, developing a smart mobility app ( ) working with couple of transport operators in the North-west of England. This will involve installation of 200 beacons on buses and business premises.   Following this Sparta is also considering the opportunity to deploy beacons as part of the City Verve project, which is a £10 million IoT city demonstrator project for which Manchester has been chosen by Innovate UK. The CityVerve project will demonstrate applications of Internet of Things technologies and services in four key areas: healthcare; transport; energy and environment; and culture and community. It will demonstrate a smart city at scale, aiming to provide a replicable model for other cities in the UK. For more information –
